Jane's american fighting ships of the 20th century has been compiled from the American sections of Jane's All the World's Ships. Five editors have in the course of this century collected, analyzed and published every important fact about each ship in all of the world's navies. Their work is accepted as the essential reference for maritime study, from the bridge to the home.
