The Income Approach to Property Valuation, now in its third edition, has proved to be one of the most useful textbooks in the field of property valuation. However, given the breadth and depth of its coverage, it has not always been easy for students and lecturers to cover all of its ground during teaching periods. David Mackmin is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Land Management and Development at the University of Reading. He is a regular contributor to the Estates Gazette and is the author of The Income Approach to Property Valuation (3rd edition with Andrew Baum, Routledge, 1989) and The Valuation and Sale of Residential Property (Routledge, 1989).
