The scientific movement unfolding in worldwide dimensions under the slogan droit comparé has attracted many an expert in Hungary to join forces with international research with a view to expanding and intensifying the comparative activity in the domain of law. To create a solid foundation and elaborate the complex method for the socialist conception of law-comparison have been recognized by them as the foremost tasks to be solved ; in result, the present volume carries papers by different authors with various aspects of socialist comparative law: general theoretical, i.e. methodological studies as well as analyses of comparative questions arising in connection with one or another branch, discipline or institution of law range in this book completed with an essay in demonstration of how the comparative method can be applied to a concrete social-legal relation.
